• General comments The genetically interesting Berlin is the result of the cross between the international sport and breeding stallion Cassini I and the internationally jumping mare Estia (Caretino) on which Aloïs Pollmann-Schweckhorst and Marc Wirths were successful.

• Sire With his successful career lasting for many years at the highest level Berlin easily lived up to expectation under Gerco Schröder and formed a fixed asset for the Dutch team. Besides his sport career, the stallion has also been used in breeding and his eldest offspring, such as the remarkable jumpers Zilverstar T and Zürich, seem to have inherited many of his qualities. Under Bo Kristoffersen and Judy-Ann Melchior dam’s sire Coriano Z caused sensation in the international sport. In breeding he managed to distinguish himself with a whole series of products active at the highest level, such as Curtis (Piet Raymakers), Coeur de Lion (Max Kühner), Condios (Dermot Lennon) and the Olympic horses Chinobamba Lavita (Alberto Michan) and Coertis (Bin Zhang)
• Dam The line on the dam’s side goes back via the blood of the stallions Cantus (Caletto I) and Latus II (Landgraf I) to the mare Sonnenschein (Romantiker) from Holsteiner lineage 6946. Sonnenschein is also grandam of the international showjumping stallion Cabrol Amicor (Caletto I) ridden by Holger Wulschner. The same family is also responsible for the stallion Chantré (Cor de la Bryère) licensed in Westphalia.

• Results In 2007, BAZOOKA was the vice champion of the Oldenburg Koerung under his birth name (Florian de la Vie).
  
  At 4 years old, he jumped 10 clear rounds out of 14 and qualified for the final of the Fontainebleau young horse championships. His ISO (French Jumping rating) was 117 then.
  
  He is currently competing in the 5 years old age classes ridden by Gilles Botton.
